Government Law College, Mumbai, India, in association with the DM Harish Foundation is going to host the 19th edition of the DM Harish Memorial Government Law College International Moot Court Competition, 2018 at Mumbai, India. The competition is scheduled to be held from 9th – 11th February, 2018.
Theme of the competition for will be – ‘Dispute Concerning Alleged Acts of Corruption in the Hosting of a Mega International Sports Event and International Tax Fraud.’
About the competition
DMH is India’s first International Moot Court Competition and started in the year 2000 as a National Moot Court Competition and has been open to international entrants since the past thirteen years and has also seen the keen participation of a number of teams from across all continents.
The Moot Court Competition is conducted over 3 days where the participating teams go through two Preliminary Rounds of Argument where they would be arguing each side once, Quarter-Final Rounds of Arguments, the Semi-Final Rounds of Argument and finally, the Final Round of Arguments.
The Moot Court Association of the Government Law College would like to invite a team from the law departments of different University/College to participate in this enriching experience.
The participants of the competition will be provided with complimentary accommodation, food and intra-city conveyance for all the participants during the days of the competition.
The Case Study (Problem of the competition) and the official rules is expected to be released shortly.
