Bangladesh Chapter of the Network for International law Students (NILS Bangladesh), in collaboration with the Center for the Study of Genocide and Justice (CSGJ) and the Liberation War Museum (LWM), will organize the grand 3-day long “International Law Fest 2019” from 4 – 6 April 2019. The grand festival will be held at the Liberation War Museum, Dhaka.

The following is a list of events that will be held during this grand festival:

(1) 1st National IHL Moot Court Competition:

The IHL Moot Court Competition seeks to raise awareness on the laws regarding genocide. It
also provides an opportunity for law students to make their cases and apply the relevant laws.
The moot problem is fictional, but deals with real-life issues brought before the International

(2) Quick Quiz Contest on Genocide and Justice:

The Quiz Contest is being organized with a view to sharing knowledge on genocide, crimes
against humanity, war crimes and all other atrocities that have been taking place all over the

(3) Student Conference on “Genocide and Justice”

The student conference will be held exclusively for the undergraduate and graduate law
students of Bangladesh, in order to explore their understanding of genocide and justice.

4) Cultural Ceremony

The grand festival will also have a cultural function segment. Students can also attend as observers in this festival. The registration form of observers can be found here.
