A Law Conference of the students, for the students, by the students !

Hundreds of talented Law students from 23 Law schools of Bangladesh gathered for two days, discussed and worked on problems and prospects of Legal education and the existing structure of legal career platform in Bangladesh. Was it successful or a failure? The participants will judge !

Justice M R Hasan of the Supreme Court inaugurated the conference, along with Borhan sir (Chairman, Law Dept., DU) and Dr. Aysha Mam (Ex Chair, Rajshahi University).

Professor Dr. Asif Nazrul sir presented the Key note paper. Our gratitude to him for his endless support throughout the management.

Mr. Louis Vanegas and his BetterWork team from ILO spoke on Labor issues of Bangladesh. For the first time in Bangladesh, Barrister Muddasir Hossain discussed the issue of Sports Law and its’ implication.

Chaumtoli Huq mam brought her excellent teaching techniques from New York to Dhaka, it was such a fantastic opportunity to learn how to be a ‘Lawyer’ !

The Valedictory was presided by Violaine Autheman, COP of Justice for All Program, USAID. Farhana Helal Mehtab mam (Head, Law Dept. DIU) was also present.
